In this case, the answer to "Can I run Auto-HotKey on the Pi?" is "No." And, I'm not just being snarky I suspect that that really is the end of the story as far as the OP is concerned. autohotkey aka AHK is the glue to these little usb keyboards and can be mapped with different hotkeys for different content creation apps. Let me invoke once again, Joe's 17th law of technical forums: Sometimes, the answer is "No.".
